The challenge was to create a chair that was both strong and extremely light, as the tightrope walker had to find the balance between the rope and his body. The backrest and the armrest are united by the two front feet to become a fluid and continuous line.

Using traditional methods in cabinetry, the seat is hand carved and the back is slightly curved for comfort. The finish is available with a clear natural oil, tinted natural white or black.
